Unity Basics, New member class Jan 2025

Thank you for your interest in Unity Basics, New Member class.
This class is required to become a member of Unity Church of Peace, but is also a great class for anyone who want the opportunity to be with like minded thinkers or is looking for a refresher on the principle teachings of Unity.

The study will be based on The Five Principles by Ellen Debenport and will be facilitated by Rev. Donna Loflin.
Classes will begin on Friday January 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. and is presented on a love offering basis. The class will run for 5 weeks and ends on Friday February 7.
We have a small quantity of books in the office available for purchase. Books are also available at Unity.org; https://shop.unity.org/product/the-five-principles
or on Amazon and Kindle. https://www.amazon.com/Five-Principles-Guide-Practical-Spirituality/dp/0871593300

Why does membership matter?
Our spiritual community is made strong by an active membership. It is our board and our members who give our community direction. Good members make for a robust and resilient congregation.

Membership benefits include voting rights to elect new board of trustee members and changes to church by-laws when applicable. Membership also includes opting in for contact with a prayer team member (by the means of your choice, call, text, email).
After 1 year, members are allowed to run for the board of trustees.

We look forward to seeing you there.
